Terms of Service

Lead times and fabrication times

Lead times are subject to change. Call 800.992.3667 or email to check stock.  Stock orders ship within 3-5 business days unless otherwise noted. Non-stock items will be marked with a lead time.  Next-day, 2nd-day, or 3rd-day orders on stock items ship within 24-72 hours after receipt of the order. If there is a delay longer than those 24-48 hours a customer service rep will be in contact immediately to convey all applicable options. If you have a special request feel free to call as same-day shipments can be arranged for an additional charge if available.

Order processing

Orders will be processed within 24 hours of order placement. Orders canceled before 24 hours will incur a 20% order processing fee if the order had been processed. If the order hasn't been processed it will be fully refunded. Any cancellations after 24 hours of placement may incur a 25%-65% restocking fee on custom-ordered door hardware and are subject to the manufacturer's return policy. 

Sourcing may source a product for our customers from another vendor or partner if the order is marked for expedited shipping other than Ups Ground.  Any sourced orders are non-returnable. Items marked Need it faster are not returnable as these are sourced orders/expedited.  

Returns / Cancellations

- Ligature hardware

- There are NO Returns on Orders with Free Shipping.

- All items not marked in stock on are final sale.

- There are No Returns on Custom Factory Orders and finishes US4, US3, US10, US10B, BSP, and Matte Black Finishes. 

- No Returns/Cancellations on Next Day Air, 2 Day Air, 3 Day Air, or Expedited orders.

- No returns or cancellations on 1-2 week, 3-4 week, or 6-8 week custom factory orders, they will be clearly marked on the site.  

- There are absolutely no returns on Electrified Door Hardware. 

- In-stock orders are subject to a 25% restocking fee. 

 Approved Returns

 You must contact us to request an RGA number in advance of returning any product! Packages that arrive without the RGA number prominently displayed on the outside of the carton may be refused and returned to you unopened. It is strongly recommended that you declare value when returning material to us that is worth more than $100 as most carriers will not cover losses over that amount without additional insurance.

To Request a return for an item marked in stock simply email and provide your order number. From there, a representative will reach out, and then provide a Rga# if the return is approved. 

 Claims Damaged defective hardware.

All claims for hidden damage, missing material, and or damaged boxes must be made within 24 hrs of receipt. If a package arrives in an obviously distressed condition, take pictures and refuse delivery of the package. Do not sign for damaged packaging and or missing material. Once the material is signed we cannot put in a claim on your behalf. Customers are responsible for reporting damaged boxes directly to the carrier and to refusing the shipment.

Expedited orders

There are absolutely no returns, or cancellations on expedited 2nd-day, next-day, or 3-day orders.

 International / Canada

Minimum purchase restriction and/or additional processing fees may apply. Customers are responsible for all customs and duty fees levied by their inhabited countries is not responsible for duties and taxes. There are no returns or cancellations on International orders.

Special orders/Custom products

Items not marked In stock on are special orders.  Lead times may vary. There are no cancellations or returns on sourced or specially ordered items.


Any report of shortages must be made to within 1-2 business days of the signed receipt.  

No third-party benefit

The provisions stated herein are for the sole benefit of the parties hereto and confer no rights, benefits, or claims upon any person or entity, not a party hereto.

Waiver, Choice of Law, and Venue

The failure of either party to assert a right hereunder or to insist upon compliance with any term or condition will not constitute a waiver of that right or excuse any subsequent nonperformance of any such term or condition by the other party. All transactions shall be governed by the State of New York, excluding its conflict of law rules, and to the extent allowed under these terms and conditions, both Quality Door & Hardware Inc. and Customer agree that the venue shall be proper in the state courts in Suffolk County, New York or Federal courts for the Long Island District.

Shipping has the right to designate carriers on all shipments. The customers are responsible for filing a freight claim directly with the carrier once the material is signed for and accepted directly by the carrier.


We accept payment by Visa, Master Card and American Express, Discover. 


Prices are subject to change without notice. Due to frequent manufacturer price adjustments based on metal cost fluctuations, pricing is guaranteed only at the time an order is placed.


Sales Tax collects tax on orders shipping to Pennsylvania, New York, and Florida.

 Intellectual Property

Customers shall have no right or title. or interest in the trade names, trademarks, trade dress, copyrights, patents, domain names, product names, catalogs, or any other intellectual property right (“IP”) reserved by Quality Door & Hardware Inc., or any IP owned by manufactures and/or suppliers of Customers shall have no right to use or copy any IP of or its manufacturers and or suppliers without's express written consent. 


The customer shall not assign any order, or any interest therein, without the prior written consent of Any actual or attempted assignment without Quality Door & Hardware Inc.’s approval shall entitle to cancel such an order upon notice to the customer.

Force Majeure

Quality Door and Hardware Inc shall not be liable for any delay in, or impairment of, performance resulting in whole or in part from any force majeure event, including but not limited to acts of God, labor disruptions, acts of war, acts of terrorism, governmental decrees or controls, insurrections, epidemics, quarantines, shortages, communication or power loss, fires, accidents, explosions, inability to procure or ship product or obtain permits and licenses, inability to procure supplies or raw materials, or any other circumstance beyond the reasonable control of (Quality Door & Hardware Inc.)



If any or portion of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the invalid or unenforceable term shall be severed from these terms, and the remaining terms and conditions shall be valid and fully enforceable as written.



Business Customers represent that any person accepting these Terms of Sale on behalf of the Business Customer is authorized to do so and that all employees and representatives of the Business Customer who access or any other website on behalf of the Business Customer or otherwise purchase products from on behalf of Business customer have the legal right, and are duly authorized, to match such purchases and further authorized to enter into agreements relating to the purchase of products or to obtain pricing or discounts from on behalf of Business Customer. Business customers hereby agree to indemnify or hold Quality Door and Hardware Inc. harmless against any breach of this representation.


Limited of Liability (Quality Door and Hardware Inc.) and Third-Party providers expressly disclaim any liability for consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages in the performance of services. The liability of or Third Party provider performing

Services in all circumstances are limited to, and shall not exceed, the purchase price for the performance.



Business Customers shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless Quality Door & Hardware Inc., Third-Party providers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and subcontractors from and against any al all claims, suits, liabilities, damages, settlements, charges, taxes, and any other losses or expenses for physical injury to, illness or death of, any third party regardless of status and damage to or destruction of any tangible property which the third party may sustain or incur.


Governing Law Limitations

The rights and obligations of the parties under these terms and conditions shall not be governed by the 1980 United Nations Convention of Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Rather, these terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, U.S., including its provisions of the Uniform Commercial Code, but excluding its conflict of law rules.
